We’re holding an information-sharing event to help develop the Nature Recovery Action Plan (NRAP) for Eryri. This event will also launch the public consultation period for the Plan and the revision period of Cynllun Eryri – the National Park Management Plan.
We’re inviting you to drop in at Plas Tan y Bwlch any time between 10:00 and 16:00 on the 25th of June to share your thoughts and ideas on how to increase the diversity and abundance of nature and improve ecological resilience throughout Eryri.
This event is open to everyone interested in nature recovery in Eryri. There’s no need to book – just drop in at your convenience. There will be a variety of stands from partners working to conserve different habitats across Eryri.
What to expect?
As part of the event, there will be themed stalls representing eight key habitat areas:
-
Uplands and Peatlands
-
Grasslands
-
Coastal Habitats
-
Farmland
-
Woodlands
-
Wetlands, Ponds, Lakes, and Rivers
-
Dark Skies
-
Gardens and Parks
These stalls will be hosted by various partners working to protect and restore these habitats in Eryri. In addition to the habitat stalls, there will be a general information stand about the NRAP and the Eryri Nature Partnership, along with a video presentation displayed at the entrance.
The aim is to encourage discussion about current nature recovery work, identify future opportunities, and better understand the challenges facing each habitat. The feedback we receive will help shape future habitat improvement plans following the formal launch of the NRAP.
Light refreshments will be available.
