Join our South Senior Warden, David Jones, for the Bryn Cader Faner Circular Walk, including Llyn Eiddew Mawr and Bach.
If you’re interested in history and archaeology, this walk is definitely for you. The route takes you through a significant archaeological landscape, including Bryn Cader Faner – a remarkable Bronze Age cairn. The cairn is a striking sight, with stone slabs standing out at sharp angles. Large stones form the circle, combining a burial mound with a stone circle. On a clear day, you can enjoy stunning views from the cairn, with the peaks of Eryri in the background.
Please take care on parts of the route – the path can be wet and muddy, so suitable walking boots are recommended. Make sure to bring water and lunch with you.
